The Reeves Vineyard Syrah is something Bob & I have jointly decided to continue for years to come under F&F. I was burdened with the same decision I had with the 2020... do I blend another Syrah into it or not? Do I add some oak or not? The final conclusion… this wine is in every way identical to its predecessor, the 2020, except for the different year. It is 100% neutral barrel & 100% Reeves Vineyard Syrah. The result is the same flavors, the same profile, the same complexity but more focused & concentrated. Everyone who has loved the 2020 will continue to love the 2021, and wine enthusiasts will be enchanted tasting the two side by side. I am very pleased to continue with this Grand Cru site, which shows the beautiful notes a cold climate Syrah can have when treated right by a master vintner like Mr. Lindquist.
